Girls of Darkside Vivian Crewneck

This was a collection of photos and video for Darkside Snowboards FW23 clothing drop. This collection of assets was specifically designed for the Vivian Crewneck.

The graphic was designed by John Garoutte, a local painter and designer to Ludlow, Vermont. The idea behind the carousel was to show that the crewneck is unisex and was comfortable and warm enough to be worn either snowboarding or by the fire at home. The graphic features John’s cat, Vivian which gave me the idea to incorporate a black cat into the ad.

While the action photos are always some of the more difficult things to shoot, photographing the cat with flashes proved to be the real challenge. Kitty would only sit in for one photo.
